So is this definantly TAGES + Solidshield?!? i was under the impression that Eidos used Securom 7!!

eidos is the publisher actually, playlogic developed afaik

Both of these are publishers (the first one is for the USA and the second for EU i think), Metropolis Software is a developer.

ok...i think its time to fight back...we must learn to deal with the tages and stupid shields are selfs ,or...we will have to read books or even worst ..we will have to buy consoles for the rest of are life 
where are the fucking years when games came like mushrooms after the rain...damm stupid new protections..what they don't understand ,is that when game is sucks-no mather what kind of protection they will use-we will not buy it!
also a demo version ,will never give ,the full picture of the game, so demo is not well ...must have full copy to decide, so...
ha well...i guess there is nothing to do but play old stuff...

Which is the most recent Protection scanner, so I can check the protection (I haven't made an image for months)?

I scanned the game.exe on the DVD (which is only 1,6 GB btw).

I remember there was one specific tool that could make tages images by reading the disc backwards. Does it still work with the newest version?

thanks for the scan, the program is called Virtual CD 8.0.0.6 don't know if it works with Tages v5.5.2 + SoftShield
