And no I dont mean ass to mouth lol. I went to withdraw £20 out today. It asks me to accept the £1.75 withdrawal fee and then asks me to remove my card. The cash slot opens, no money comes out, the cash slot closes, the screen shows a windows 98 desktop and then says shutting down and then I get a bios screen! As if being late for work wasnt enough this morning! Great start to my day! May the NFOrce be with you always.

This is my fear. The fucking machine is going to eat my card and I can't get any money and I am stuck somewhere. Happened to me once downtown. The bus let me on for free. I didnt actually. The ATM was outside a shop and after enquiring in the shop, they told me the machine was nothing to do with them and I should ring my bank. So I rang my bank. They asked me numerous questions about my latest debit transactions, most of which I couldnt answer because I use the card a lot and yesterday was too soon for them to have the information from my latest transactions. So they said if the money wasnt back in my account by the end of the day, I should goto my bank and fill in a money back disclaimer form. It will take about a week to process. Which is totally stupid I thought but rules are rules. Sad

Never had a machine eat my card except for the time I snapped my card and tried to feed in both halves at the same time! lol

Never had a seagull shit on me but it must be quite demoralising! Did my profile name remind you of a bird that shit on your head? Ok it is headshot not shit but that is what I was thinking. lol

lol I know! A withdrawal fee of £1.75 from an ATM running on Windows 98. When the bios screen came up after the software crashed and the system rebooted, it said Intel Pentium III Celeron lol. I didnt catch the clock speed tho!

Why are you teh hate windowms? By the way, even though I care only slightly for your plight - I've been wanting to get some whine of my chest for a long time on the matter. I hate how companies these days try to trick you into things. The .99 pricing, the "free" phones. And this is another example, where the beurocratic system wins - I might not have bothered with the monies if it meant that I have to lobby some bank for a week to get 20 pounds. And guess what, you never get anything for your troubles anymore. I say you go there and demand millions of pounds in damages - make up a nice sob story about how you had mona lisa on the backside of your ATM card, and sue the bastards. Sue everyone.
