That's probably because you've had them installed (old version I guess) before installing this game.

i doubt it , i very rarely download any games infact i think this is the first game with tages ive downloaded.

i had a quick browse in the readme and found no mention of them either

Well, I've removed the drivers just 30 minutes ago to test it, and it's like I said, game crashes then... So it's same in your case, drivers are not running or they are not up to date....

i just uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers still crashs for me.

maybe its because i didnt install the game to the default path? doubt it though and i cant be bothered to uninstall and reinstall to try again if the crack worked properly it wouldnt matter

And I do prolly know more about cracking then he might suspect Wink

Fact is that the crackfix is not working too, the crash has nothing todo with the tages drivers.
(And by the way, did you notice that it is a loader? Smile the protection is still intact.)
A little injected code is used to fool the tages check.
This code is also the cause of the access violation that occurs after the sixth level leading the game to crash.

Pretty weird definition of "handling a new protection as first again" Smile

No group flaming now please. It wasnt my intention to humiliate anybody here, I just wanted to spare some people the time un- and reinstalling the tages drivers over and over again Wink

I'm on the 4th allied mission (Capture the Chancellor) i've wiped out the main base and the airfield now under objectives i'm supposed to go to the chancellors hideout which is the town hall i send my heros and tanks down to the hall and nothing happens....I've restarted this mission twice with same results...What exactly is suppose to happen once you get to the hall..?


Btw i know it will crash at level 6... Wink

i just moved all my heroes (3 of them) right on the entrance to the townhall , i think i wiped out every enemy on the map with aircraft first though

Looks like it was a bug if you get seen by the enemy before you meet the third hero) the objective of meeting the hero don't complete probably and you don't get the marker outside the townhall.. Rolling Eyes

LOL Razz Me.. a rld cracker? No not really, I don't think their cracker would be lurking around such place - they might be reading those forums to gather some informations, but hell, posting would be stupid Cool

It's not a loader IMO, it doesn't load anything - its encrypted inline patch targeted into tages sdk functions, which were mostly protected with that new protection called Solid-Shield (according to resource infos from hc.dll). With Tages cracks you can always expect some driver use, even very old game such as XIII (flt 1.0, dev 1.1 was driver free, they had more time to play with it I guess) was done this way... so there's nothing new on the tages cracking part! By mentioning a new protection being beaten I really meant the Solid-Shield workaround, it looked like they ripped the encryption code from it and reused it after patching. See? I'm no that lame Wink

Sooo back on the topic: I installed the game as usual and then I've tried the lvl6 without the drivers and it did not work... so I assumed that was your problem. I'm using Windows XP SP2 by the way. Cool

So, can we conclude that installing the Tages drivers (from Tages folder) makes the RLD crackfix successfull for the 6th mission ? (i'd like to know this BEFORE starting the game if u see what i mean Wink )

I just played the demo and I must say this game is really a surprise for me. I expected crap but it seems to be pretty polished and it has nice graphics, good performance and most importantly, it's fun! If you ask me this is much better than Supreme Commander. I will download the full version including the crackfix repack now. Smile

Awesome game...Very enjoyable...I love the heros in this game as they are actually useful and get you out of trouble at critical times...Going to buy it as soon as it is available in the UK, definitely one for the NON PIRATED collection.. Very Happy

mission 7 i think of the axis campaign is hard or im crap lol

americans have a base beeing pwned by the russians the base i build eventually gets overwhelmed and that stupid russian bitch that keeps making my vehciles switch sides is a pain in the ass!

i got rid of the first russian base fairly easily , i took out those big ass tanks once they reached my base, then those slimey red bastards sent a shit load of crap to my base and i didnt have enough cash to defend Laughing

i spam 5 engineer trucks and reach the american base with 1 still intact and try to build a mini base to help the americans defend but it was useless Mad

i think im going to have to try and make a base in the americans camp asap next time and make sure they dont get wiped out , it seems like the only way to win the mission without turning down the difficulty. Surprised
