Is it true that the game's only 1.2GB after installation? What's the rest on the DVD then?
I can only remember Space Rangers or whatever that game was called. A full 4GB DVD for a game worth 1 CD of HDD space. What the rest was? Empty, uncompressed text files with thousands of empty lines. 3.5 gigs wasted that way! Try to grab an uncompressed image and you're screwed.

3.7 Gig install size. I'm guessing its different language files filling up the dual layer - but could not see a way to get this to fit on a single layer as the language files are not seperate.. so didnt have a clue which 'setup' was safe to delete

I actually thought that using the gizmo's that never where invented would be sort a crap...but now I want more  This is your normal RTS with not at all bad graphics and a sort a compelling story (look, it never happened and it never will, but don't matter). They where at it any way, why did they not go all the way...Nazi UFOs and Ray weapons etc( OK they through in a sort a sound wave tank)...atomic bomb is another one I miss here. Over all not a bad RTS but they could have gone "freak out" on this one as the story just begs for it

WTF!!! when i come to"fight of nations" Single player campaign (not sure of the name as I have installed it in German) it asks for the "original CD" all levels before that one works...totally weird!

its not properly cracked then if you notice on the games CD theres a tages directory.
guess whoever cracked it didnt properly get rid of them all :@
ahh well guess i still have a fair bit to go hopefully a proper crack will be released before i get stuck at the same point as you

Yea, I actually passed that level and got the "crack" bug on level 7. The crack is not proper...like you said
From another Forum "anyone got stuck on mission 7 i think it is , keeps askin me for the original cd? . seems the crack wont work from this point"
I guess we have to whait for a crack fix or something...I am to lazy to start experimenting with Pr0t.St0p etc...

rainyday you can view all the movies in the games folder , they play in windows media player.
in your warfront folder navigate to Run\English\Gfx\Movies
there all named so you know which is for what mission.

im saying tages because on the game cd theres a folder called tages with a program inside called Tages setup, when you try and run the program it says "the drivers are correctly configured and running, do you want to uninstall them"
cd checks at certain points of games is also a tages thing

Seems like we missed some check that caused the game to ask for the original
dvd at the sixth mission of the game, here is a fixed executable that solves
this

now instead of asking for the cd my game just crashs to desktop when trying to load lvl6 on either allies or axis!
what a crock of shit can reloaded do nothing right these days?

I had the same problem and when I installed tages drivers from the dvd mission 6 worked with the fix, maybe the game needs the drivers there
|

Thanks for the tip but what do u mean by installiing tages drivers from DVD ?
Isn't this done automatically during the first game install ?
