My gripe with the mods is, on contrary to the other bitching on this thread, is that they actually don't ban enough people! So many crap talking fools that ought to be in kindergarden instead of posting on the net... |

well, banning usually isnt solving much. But it is the easiest way to enforce the big rules like the "no request" one. Immature posters usually just reregister if they get a permanent ban and start their shit all over with another account...
and overall i d say this is one of the really well moderated forums i have frequented over the years. If not i d still most likely be a regular at that orange site

nope, i d rather programm a small ip-database-and-cookie-checker, that automatically flags users, that seem to originate from the same computer and openly show that under all the clones user-account-names (like "this user is most likely a dupe of [user-name]" ) and the clone itself ("Account-Duper" / "schizophrenic Multi-User")
The problem is the programming and the added load on the servers. The good side: the automated exposure would lead to shame and enough flak from other users and might lead to a faster learning curve with the immature posters hopefully

in alot of ways england is shit and the goverment sucks ass, so the guy was just telling the truth.
im sure alot of people bash america often and dont get banned, i never saw the posts thought so he might have just been trying to cause trouble for all i know

Really is that so, i asked many months ago if this forum is taking any steps towards the constant bashing of the US and it's people and all i got as a reply was "it's all covered by free speech we can't do anything about it". ya know, I agree, the main reason anyone here gets banned is cause the retaliation with e-penises, and the involvement of flame wars. Everyone knows if you start to force an opinion in a conversation with any or the slightest bit of hostility ya your gunna get banned. You know how many times I could have gotten myself banned? I know when to censor my fingers and just DONT post in that thread. I have yet to see the mods here do anything wrong and I find the bannings from The Saint to be quite humorous, every ban I have seen him do has been from some child getting hostile and too opinionated, and if you get banned and want to keep comming back and get banned again then maybe your just DUMB for not getting the message. Half of the flame wars are started from people coming in out of no where to post some arrogant message in a thread that doesn't have to do with anything, or continue the war. OMG!! Someone doesn't like this game, lets flame him to oblivion. Some of you bitch about how others are to harsh and opinionated but yet someone gets flamed in a video game thread and people who weren't ever in the thread come in to post a flame for that sole reason with nothing said to the game, they deserve to be banned. So to make things simple heres an idea, someone says something you don't agree on, don't post in the topic or just ignore what was said and get things back on topic.

And I agree with you. I personally hope The Saint turns more into a dick as if he ever was one and starts banning like Pamela Anderson gets plastic surgery

I laugh too and im from the states. I think it's mainly because if someone else gets defensive of their country thats when banning takes place. I seem to be like..the only person on here from the states and I talk more shit about it than all of you on this board put together. Hell the first thing I say when I wake up is fuck this country lmao. Though I can't confirm this would be true.
