whenever you enter an hideout, or you catch an hidden orb, or you kill one bad guy the game saves!

Lost Planet rocks but Marvel Ultimate Alliance sucked and I would definitely not call that one fun. As for the saving system in Crackdown, the game seems to save automatically. The only manual saving you can do is when you exit the game. I would guess it saves after a mission or a significant event. I noticed it saves when you collect one of the many hidden items.

Ok now my question. Where in the hell do all the enemies keep coming from?! I wipe out hundreds and they are immediately replaced with hundreds more! Sometimes that is frustrating I think! There is certainly never a shortage of the bad guys!


If you kill all off enough bosses, the bad guys will not be as pletniful. In fact, in my game... I have killed all the bosses on the first Island-like section (forgot name) that you start in and there aren't ANY of the bad guys around there any more. I have to cross the bridg to another section to even find any. So, now I am spending time in that section doing rooftop races, car racing, and collecting the skill power ups.
Until you kill the bosses, the bad guys keep coming apparently.

And when you power up it saves as well if memory is servingme at the moment.
Plus, if you quit via the menu, it gives you an option to save and quit.

cleaned all 3 islands and the only boss left is chinese guy
my character can lift up to 10 tons now Laughing

Has anyone gotten this to work with the NME-360 Modchip from Team Underdog?
Im playing on a PAL machine and I've wasted 3 dvds so far..
I tried the renaming, stealthpatching stuff, only that I had to convert it it with the NME-360 aSSociat0r before burning it.
The 2 first DVDs gave me Unknown disc, while the third ( stealthpatched ) Gave me the white errorscreen with " please put this disc into a xbox 360 machine to play "

Anyone? :S

ah yes, the place i got this game from ppl had same problems with those nme chips, so u not completely alone, blame chip

btw working fine with almost all games doesn't cut it man, with patch all games work for me pal,ntsc as long as they region free

no there is no story.

You have 4 islands ( 1 is the lil police island )

on the other 3 islands you have Mexicans,Russians and japanse kingpins. On all islands you have around 7 of them. You need to go to there house/building or whatever and kill them. I did it all with collecting of the globes and doing all achievements in about 12 hours.

I won't get this game to have fun by myself, I get it to have fun with a friend. Co-op in these kinda games...its a dream . Smile

I'm I playing the right game here? I thought this was supposed to be good?
The only thing I like about this is the saving system this is how saving should be done is console games. Unlike Lost planet.. ugh..

It just feels to me like a half-assed effort "This COULD have been good" they should have added a proper storyline based missions into it instead of this sandbox thing. Crying or Very sad

btw whats wrong with LP save system? it's does save after checkpoints so u can quit and resume later or i played wrong game Confused
here stats updating every second u play so regular save system needed or u expecting quick save Razz

Without the storyline elements it just feels incomplete. or they could have added alot more variation into the missions.

Don't even get me started with dead rising. What a disgrace. So is the AI in crackdown. Very Happy

the ending cinematic i thought was a runup to the final boss, feels like they wanted that to happen but perhaps didnt have time to do it. woulda been a nice twist.

apart from lack of story really enjoyable game and i didnt really miss the story that much, what is imbalanced is the fact that i went and ran past all the enemies in the tower and took out the head boss pretty early on in the game Smile
