heloo everyone. my question is this: is there any way to make a vcd or svcd out of maybe a .avi or divx or mpg. i'm pretty new at this so im clueless. and one more thing, can you put subtitles on the vcd to or what. thanx in advance
Yes it's possible to make a vcd/svcd/dvd out of a DivX/XviD, you can use tmpeg for example, check http://www.doom9.net/ or http://www.videohelp.com/ for howto's.
But i would advise you to buy a dvd player wich can play divx/xvid, this way you don't have to convert them. I guess that's the reason why you wanna do it?
