I got a legit vista key and the Billgates release. Now if i use the key to activate will i be able to use it again to activate on another computer? If not what tools can i use to bypass the activation but still use my legit key to download updates?

THE ANTIWPA CRACKS WORK ON BOTH x86 AND x64 VERSIONS OF VISTA, AND WINDOWS UPDATE WORKS TOO. THERE ARE NO UPDATES AS OF NOW TO COUNTER THE CRACK. TO BE SAFE, SET WINDOWS UPDATE TO MANUAL DOWNLOAD, SO YOU COULD MONITOR WHAT PATCHES ARE INSTALLED. KEEP AN EYE ON THE ANTIWPA FORUMS TO SEE WHICH UPDATES ARE NOT SAFE AND SHOULD NOT BE INSTALLED. I installed the Ultimate from Bill Gates and somehow I started with 29 days after the timestopper patch. That was about 2 months ago and yesterday it was down to 27 days (same today). The only thing I could think is that the computer was running overnight which is not usual as I'm normally on my my XP partition. Anyone have any ideas?
2 months ago there was no relevant working crack for the vista evaluation grace period timer, please use the latest working crack quoted in the faq.

Well, maybe it was a little less than two months, but nevertheless I don't want to re-install Vista Ultimate at this point... can I "repatch" with the new timerstop program??

F**k me, I just fell of my chair when I read that. I was expecting to be installing Vista SP1 before any final Vista drivers from nVidia. I am still not getting my hopes up for the GPU drivers.

Suggest you also read this interview to understand just how much work goes into making drivers. Wink

Yes, I know all about this, and still even ATI, and we know how notorious are their drivers, managed to get better drivers for Vista. Sorry, but that's not an excuse.

Then again ATI did not have to rewrite some of their driver base completely for DX10, at least not yet.

I'm using WinBeta AIO to upgrade from WinXP64bit ( last version ) to Vista.
It's impossible, it asks me the WinXP SP2!
Is it a problem of the WinBeta AIO installer?

( sorry for my bad english )

I have read somewhere that the BillGates version lacks some things (like some drivers and such) in comparison to other (newer) releases out there. Can anyone confirm that this is true? I have just aquired a newer release, so if it is true I will reinstall...

Right it doesn't lock unless i go to my computer and properties and when it attempts to find license information at the bottom it comes up with:

Error 0xC004D401
Description:The security processor report a system file mismatch error

Have tried the clues over the net (uninstall spyware doctor, norton (which wasn't actually on comp but ran removal tool anyway).... Any ideas how to make this error message go away to i can attempt to try patch cause otherwise that message just comes up??

peeps who have Nvidia cards don't install forceware 100 beta drivers
they are buggy and not as good as the ones that come with Vista.
wait untill an WHQL driver comes out and try that.

For peeps with 8800s, they are the only choice. And they are bad indeed, can't play in Vista at all with them.
