do they sell tri-wing screwdrivers, like the one needed for the wii in stores like home depot?

I doubt it. I think you'll get one at an electronics shop or try the internet.

you can try the biro trick..take out actual pen bit, melt it, stab in the hole with the screw, hold for 5-10 secs, cool it with very cold water

i manged to open 2 gamecubes this way, but had to redo the biro for every screw. Once i had the scews out i cut small slots in the heads for a normal flatty screw driver.


I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

you can get a triwing for 4 dollars from play-asia.com they shipped from HK to the US in less than a week for 2 dollars
