by regular dvd i meant dvd -rom burner etc , i tried to rip with clone cd it gave me shitload of errors
trying with dvdd now

You mean wxripper hotswap method? It only works sometimes and on some drives, its pretty erratic.
I bought a samsung D162C PC-drive for 16 euros and used the kreon firmware and you can then use xbox backup creator and a single button press gets you a PERFECT backup with SS and stealth patches etc in less than 20 minutes.

I think this only works to back up backups. To copy an original game DVD you need the Samsund D162C with "Xbox Backup Creator".

why u need to create iso, it should be in .000 format, just burn it with clone cd it's easy, don't forget to burn .dvd file the small one

Try it with the newest ImgBurn gospel. It now has a read mode which works fine. If it doesn't work for you there must be something wrong with your burned discs.
