Is it just me, or is there no way to switch to the good side in either single player campaign? I launch the missions, but it doesn't give me a choice of side...it just defaults to the bad guys.

its on the spawn screen when your selecting your class, in the middle of the screen at the top.

this game is actually quite decent i thought suprised and it runs at a blistering frame rate gonna buy this for online play

Yeah its fun, I wont be buying it simply because I dont like the flying gameplay, it seems like they designed that to be an afterthought to the actual fighting with infantry and ground vehicles, plus theres really only a few weapons that have been altered a bit to make more, for instance, grenades/grenade launchers, rockets, and lasers.

Actually that mod sucks, its very unpolished and unprofessional, boring as hell gameplay, and it looks like shit.
BTW I take back what I said about the weapons, I just played a clone wars level and theres so many wierd and interesting vehicles, plus lotsa new weapons that differ from the standard blaster stuff.
The feel of this game is right, its dead on when you have a large scale battle, and the graphics are great, hopefully they will release a multiplayer demo so I can give multiplayer a try because single player alone isnt going to sell me on this.

Wow I am surprised at this game.
It really has that star wars feel, and is actually really fun. Sound and graphics are good too

when did you last try it? its listed on the BFV site maybe they released it for BFV now.
i doubt EA would have a news article on there site about the mod if its really as bad as you say.

u know it has its flaws but....its actually quite fun to play. its def a game u can play for a lil and leave it sitting there to have to odd battle. The AI is a bit shitty and i think the games biggest downfall is NO EDITOR i mean c'mon lucasarts what were you thinking...oh wait lucas likes his cash cow...i smell expansion pack cooking in the lucas kitchen...shame shame

Phew - I was getting worried that you wern't in fact downloading it, which would mean the testing phase would be delayed - Thanks for clearing it up.
Please post to tell us when you have finished downloading and testing has officially begun.

BTW - Just in case anyone is interested - I am also dowloading - however due to other commitments - won't be entering the testing cyle until later in the week - i'll keep you posted.

speed999 how's your downloading progress so far? I am also downloading, however after having read some reviews I am seriously thinking of quitting the download stage and not testing the game at all. Unfortunately with each mb downloaded it is harder to decide...

why the hell do you think that a rating of 7.5 means a game is CRAP ? come on...it may not be a MASTERPIECE but 7.5 definately means that it's good, but has it flaws, not that it's crap with a good moment every once in a while

nah i didnt do that / dont know how to neway  when i do the naboo mission after a bout 4 mins of playin it just brings up the minimap and lags forever. any1 else have this problem? is that what the fix fixes?
