I get some error about it the .dll file not existing in /x86/, even though I'm looking at the antiwpa.dll file in it's correct place, and yeah I'm running it as Administrator. Any idea?

Follow the tinyurl quoted earlier, seek for a file named "TimerStop V2a".
there are these three files in the relevant crack archive:
install.exe (MD5 hash: B904BE9C7FF89F665BE94F51DBE768AF)
TimerStop64.sys (MD5 hash: 2898FB2BE37B758322B55BBC001F48EB)

Aye cheers pal, was trying to install that v3.4.6 thing, so I got the timerstop one and it installed fine. Is there actually anyway to check that it works? Sorry if someone has already said this but I really dont' want to sift through 42 pages of information for an answer.
Maybe someone should just lock this thread and create a new one with the _exact_ way to install the timerstop and whatever is required, or maybe the original start of this thread could do it.

I'm all for that. Not only that, but make the new thread sticky as well, so people read it instead of asking how to crack Vista every other post (or PM me and others about it).
BTW, I'm willing to write the new thread if it's going to be taken seriously.

I like diskeeper the best so far. Mainly because of its offline defragmentation methods and its auto defrag when your PC is idle or using little resources that's new in 2007. I've never been comfortable with those various different defrag types in O&O. Perfect Disk is cool too but I think Diskeeper is a better package over all.
These were some results a guy got on HardOCP:
"PerfectDisk is the only thing I recommend, period.
As for stopping, it hurts nothing; it merely stops the defragmentation process wherever it was. You can always start again later, and the defrag app will typically do another analysis pass, note everything that's notfragmented, and start from that point - it won't typically remember where it left off, and since it's running another analysis pass, that would be pointless anyway.
It's best to run an analysis pass before every defrag, especially if you're trying to pick up from where you left off. This ensures the total defragmentation of a drive at any given time when the defrag is begun.
In my own testing, PerfectDisk (v8 is the latest) stomps Diskeeper (v2007 is the latest) and O&O Defrag (v8.5 is the latest) into the ground, both of 'em. Neither of the competitor's products could defrag a specially created 20GB image file I have with 259,000 fragments from 4K files.
I created it specifically for testing defragmentation software using a tiny command line defragger tool that has a "reverse" mode and can purposely fragment a drive like crazy - it's called a "shotgun" fragmenter because when it's done, it's like taking all those files, putting them on CDs/DVDs, and holding it at the end of a 12 gauge shotgun and pulling the trigger: the files get blasted all over the place in tiny pieces.
PerfectDisk v8 defragmented the entire partition in 1 hour 5 mins and in one single pass. Diskeeper v2007 took over 9 hours and required 7 passes. O&O v8.5 took 12 hours and 17 mins and 11 passes to fully defragment the drive back to 0% fragmentation.
This was all done on a Core 2 Duo 1.66 GHz laptop, 2GB of PC2-4200 RAM, 160GB SATA I 5400 rpm drive with XP Pro SP2, NTFS."
I jump around all three progs because I'm paranoid.

The soundcard I have hasn't got Vista drivers yet.
A new thread would be great Inatan.

I'll create a new thread called "The Definitive Vista QnA" where I'll post answers to commonly asked questions. I'll maintain it over time, and hopefully noobs will read it first instead of asking again and again. PM me for additional questions you think should be there. It will help if a mod stickies it.
Going to write it now...

Yes, lol, there was more to that sentence... "My name is Leo Natan, not Inatan" (Ahem, Jenni), but I had to shorten it to fit all the content of my sig, lol.

I'd like to know also - I got some creative drivers that won't give me 5.1 (Audigy LS).
I used to use the EAX console to get 5.1 but I don't see a version for Vista yet.

Vista has a great 5.1 setup. You've tried configuring it through the vista control panel?

I have and I tested the speakers and I get output from all 5.1 of them.
The thing is I used to be able to listen to .mp3's in 5.1 when I turned on the surround setting in the EAX console.
Now that I can't get that program installed I am stuck.

Oh, you want to upmix it. Thats another story, I used to do that too, and never really figured out how to do it with vista. Honestly, just wait for updates from Creative.

Just got Vista x64 Ultimate up and running...however I've got a few major quirks, wondering if anyone else has encountered them.
1. Hard-drives seem to be going into sleep mode or something. I'm doing random shit and all of a sudden I hear a click and my harddrive warming up (or turning off), fuck if I know. I check, all drives are present and accounted for under My Computer. What the fuck is going on?
2. I've played with the various soundsetups and have settled for just Stereo (use a headset). However, sound seems to ECHO. Like it plays out of both the left and right channel, at the same time, but just a tad out of synch, so I hear it kinda twice. Really wierd and annoying effect.
(Using Audigy 2 ZS x64 Vista drivers my sound card).
Fuck is going on?
PS. Hope this is the right place to post it, didn't feel I needed to start another thread

I have the exact same problem with #1. I think it has to do with memory. How much memory do you have? I have over 2gb and i believe it can load the entire OS into your memory, so it stops spinning unless it needs something, so it shuts it off. Can't be sure though

Does it have anything to do with the power options? Spinning down the HDD in a laptop situation to conserve battery?

I've already disabled all power management options (Sleep Status and Display Status) set to never, yet it keeps doing it. Can this be considered healthy for the hardware (it having to stop and spin up all the time rather than just spinning constantly)?
BTW, I'd like to crosscheck my observations - is it just me, or does porn look alot better/crisper in Vista than XP? It just seems...fresher....hehe

Thanks Kamel that worked no problem.
So does anyone know how to get an old style joystick port working for my joystick. It is actually working, but in the game controller section it only allows USB.
