You guys playing with driving aids on or even automatic transmission are putting what little this game has to offer to waste.
It's too hard going from GTR2 to this game.
/EDIT: Oh yeah if your running Vista ATi released their official Catalyst 7.1 Vista drivers with OpenGL support, it might help this game out a bit.

Man i've been wondering why when I race groups of cars the slow piles of shit smoke me off the line until my car stops peeling out around 4th gear or 140mph. 90% of these bastards who I race have the driving aids on and wonder why my car spins its wheels so much, but its ok because after like 175mph I fly by them.

When you made an account ingame did you check the box of gamespy? That's what i forgot and had to start all over to do just that! Then it will go online!
