I dont get it...
How to play Online...
When Ingame I chose my Profile, but you cant Edit it...
I cant click in the Gamespy either...
Is there a Homepage I must goto to create the Gamespy Online gaming ???

I asked that myself ... The game will go ALOT faster without crappy shadows...
Anyway, I figured out how to play Online, but dont see any Servers or People...

You add friends through quick challenges with other players, the result screen says "Add friend"
You can't get online at the begining because I believe you have to hit Amateur rank.
You get rid of your wanted level by not hitting anything and driving safe.

Car classes mean nothing, You have to use the appropriate car for the appropriate race. You can buy an A class car at the start but it does you no good besides joyriding since all the starting races have to be completed with lower class cars.

Just go to the in-city Nissan representative. The Nismo pre-tuned (?) one is a good, inexpensive choice for a class E. Then with a little looking around the airport area you can find the tuner shop and get a level 3 upgrade. There you go, a fine Class E car.

No console command or such to lower the graphics? The only setting apart from aa is pretty useless.
My 7600GT can't seem to handle when the weather thickens and it begins to blow and such.

Nope, looks like there are no graphics ini's to mess with. Turning Shadows off and lowering the draw distance would make a huge framerate increase. This horrible X600SE can barely render a single tree.

Yeah you have to physically travel to something before it becomes teleport available on your map.
Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the in game AA seems to have a huge performance hit but when I would enable it from my graphics card control panel instead it was much much smoother. Im guessing the in game AA may have been doing some Transperancy AA. Oh yeah and do yourselves a favor and enable AF from your cards panel too. It makes a huge difference.

I think there's a map for tuning shops around the pages of this thread, do a search.
@ Krazy-Kamel: AF stands for Anisotropy Filtering? And are you sure that forced AA gave you better FPS? I really have to do some benchmarking with FRAPS. I don't like how slow the car and the whole game feels on interior view.

You don't LoL, You gotta explore. I think maybe the tuner shops are sorta greyed out like the dealerships where they show you it's location but you gotta drive there to un grey it out. Check your maybe and filter just the tuner shops see if you can find any that are grey.
Yeah enabling AA through my Catalyst Control Center when I had my X1900XT made a noticeable performance increase compared to when I enabled it through the game. Yeah AF is Anis Filtering, the game default uses trilinear and the road 20 feet in front of you is very blurry but setting AF cleans that up nicely.
/EDIT: Oh yeah if you guys are looking for a really nice straightaway to test your cars top end, up on the Top left of the map there is a light house and its called blah blah blah point. If you travel about 4-5 miles to the right of that by the airport there is a very long flat straight that lets you easily top your car out. I was able to hit 237 in my Zonda, a lot of people go up there and just do 4 way launches and race.

Goddamn, it's unplayable right now for me.
First time I tested it, it ran pretty good. But then the next time, I get somewhere near 2 fps all of a sudden. Works good (but worse than the first time) when I'm not driving, but as soon as I start to drive (and as slow as 20km/h) it starts to go in 2-3 fps.
