Hey guys,

I installed my new wireless rooter 2 months ago since I had a Wii and a new laptop demanding Wi-Fi access. Everything went well for the first 1 month and an half, connection pretty much everywhere and not losing connection at all, everything was A-1. Since like 2 weeks it's the complete opposite : my Wii can't connect 1 out of 10 times and when it does it's slow as hell. Same for my notebook, even if I'm right beside the rooter it disconnects every 2mins or so and net is also slow as hell. It's not the laptop for sure since I use Wi-Fi connection at college and I'm always on without any troubles.

So I tried the usual stuff, reboot modem, rooter, computer, nothing. I upgraded to the latest Firmware tho for the Linksys rooter, same shit... So do you guys have any plans for me to try to spot what's wrong with that ? It came all of a sudden.

Thanks alot appreciated.

What security is on the router? Could it have been hacked?

I'm using WPA2 security and it's not hacked.

I did not plug anything else since then.
