Would you be suggesting that I didn't know what the P stood for in PIC?
Yes I saw the presentation, which is as of now totally unsubstantiated.
Do you honestly believe that they would take a step back from the game cube with the wii?
Who are these wiinja guys are anyway. Do you really think they could beat Team Xecuter to the crunch as regarding a simple chip as this.

I mailed that shop in Spain thats taking preorders. he said it will be shiiping out 1st of next month and that it worked with al the releases they tested , PAL of course. I looked up the store on Paypal, its verified Paypal store and ppl in Spain say its a reputable one. So might be real!!!

Who the hell is "Team Xecuter" regarding the GC scene? No one. They didn't contribute one bit to it, why would it be the case with the wii? You may have seen the presentation, but you didn't understand it at all. If you did, you'd know it would be trivial (to the ppl with knowledge, of course) to implement a chip to patch the wii drivecode. They didn't take a step backward, they simply changed the password to lowercase. Please, watch the presentation again and this time try to understand...
And about Team Ninja, google for NinjaMod. It's a modchip for the gamecube (Altough they ripped off a lot of ppl with their IPL replacement). So they at least know how to make a modchip...
Oh, btw, they didn't beat Team Xecuter, they beat the Xeno guys. They are also working on a chip that patches the drivecode.

Well TX contributed a case to the Game Cube, have you seen it, it's rather nice.
The Ninjamod is great, I mean the way it defeats the lid sensor is amazing.
Even if the wiinja works and I'm still not convinced 39 Euros is well a piss take.
The same thing will just happen like playstation 508. They'll get the code and release it onto the net.

The playstation mod was read protected. It took a year before it was defeated if I remember correctly.

i dont understand why you are arguing..if its real its great, else its a very well done fake that has gotten its due attention. Considering the momentum and publicity this mod has generated, it will be a very well orchestrated hoax if it was a fake.

looking at the wiinja, it looks to be the easiest mod to install. Infact it looks easier than the playstations.

just got a mail from Futureshop, my order is packed and ready to ship tomorrow. I dont think I will install it just yet though. I already own all the games I wanted to try. So I will wait till some quality titles appear and also see how the mod works out for others.

All the releases says "unscramble with word/god unscrambler". Is this already done on the scene releases or do we have to do it. I downloaded unscrambler and it expects a .wod file as input. All the scene releases are .iso
