improved Graphics.
Improved IA Cops.
Well , just test Open beta few minutes.
Its better than closed . closed was so good , so its nice.

Hmmm...Strange, when I beta Tested a few games before I didnt have to Subscribe any where...
And those games were Open beta...
Owell, Ive written in my Email, so Im holding my fingers crossed...
Come to think of it I think I registered there many years ago...Cant remember...

I've got a free 3D Gamers account. Will I be able to play the open beta??? Maybe tomorrow? Or do I have to wait for the full game / subsribe to Fileplanet?

Omfg, you morons. You don't pay for the beta, you pay for OTHER Fileplanet services like download servers etc. The betas are only a bonus, the subscription price doesn't vary if you participate or you don't. So STFU about the subscription price already.

But yea, i dont know why, but HDR makes my video card pewp out. Shit just goes black. Same happened with oblivion, my PSU might just not have enough powa.

The file is encrypted? No its not. I just used Winrar and bam extracted. Second if any of you subscribers could download the torrent file and add yourself as a seeder about 105 people could use that. Since its 10:30 AM now i've uploaded about 1 Gig so far since 3 AM.
Now about the game. There are so many things that turned out different from what I was imaginging in my head. The entire intro sequence I feel is un needed and a waste of time. Calling the physics wierd is a understatement as the cars feel as though they have no physical connection to the road. Instead of your car losing grip from the tires being exhausted at high speed the vehicles just float away on clouds.
My god, who ever did the modeling for the human characters needs his fucking eyes ripped out. Every character looks like a confused life-less robot.
As for the cops, don't even get me started....
The two things this game does decently at all are wheel spin and braking distance thats it. I thought I would love the interior view but it feels extremely cramped to me and you lose advantage of seeing ahead on the mostly right angle turns.
Performance is mediocre. You guys with mid to lower end hardware that supports SM3 will have no choice but to turn off HDR as it boosts my framerate by about 40% leaving it off. The bad part is without HDR the game looks rather bland and they implemeneted it for a reason because of all the different levels of light you drive around in. Second the game is one of the MOST prone to aliasing I have ever seen in my life. It looks horrendous without AA but turning it on again another huge performance hit. Don't even think about AA+HDR unless you've got a 8 series card because for me on my 1900XT it was as though i was squirming around the roads as a slug. This sucks because this game thrives off a sense of speed and the 20-30 fps it runs at, 140mph doesn't look too fast. (Im using Vista, lets hope we can blame the performance on the drivers, but I doubt it.)
Oh yeah and as of last night, there were 0 players online then 1 then 2 and then 0 again and as I tried to get there attention by honking in their cars face and ramming into them they did not respond, BOTH were AFK so I was alone on the entire Island.
Now for a few good things so far.
I've driven 130MPH for a LONG time and got no where. The island is MUCH larger then i expected, you can drive on and on and on for a pretty long time and still have tons of road to go. The menu's and map are intuitive and easy to navigate, especially the full screen map that lets you access everything on the fly. There is a aspect of exploration almost like an RPG where you need to drive around to find stuff at the start of the game. Load time are practically non-existant. The engines sound wonderful as they rev through their powerbands. The motion blur is done very tastefully, only at the edge of the screen by your peripheral vision.
I can't think of anything else. I'll play some more and add to it.
