I know Winnerbäck has this whole "fjortis"-rykte about him (nice svengelska va?) but his songs are great, I can really relate to alot of what he sings.
Coldplay on the other hand, well, either you hate em to death or you like em, it's a risk.
Amen to that.
Jörgen, the singer of Praetorian Platoon is also the singer of The Kristet Utseende that I mentioned earlier. Same kind of music, but with different lyrics. I was going to write "more serious lyrics", but it's mostly hippy trippy lyrics. "Love metal" as thay call it.
While TKU only have lyrics about gays and drugs and religion.

Hel, great viking rock with 2 girls singing, melodic music.
Dia Psalma, punkish with big influences of traditional swedish folk music.
Malte X, looks like a queer but have some nice music, punkrock.
Midgård - Pro Patria III, the one with Saga singing. Nice soothing music. (Also look for Saga's solo projects)
Jens Gustavsson & Andras ungar, also a bit like this Lars Winnerbäck, but far better.
Eddie Meduza, if you like 50's style rock'n'roll and swedish lyrics about masturbation and other stupid things. Has also done a lot of serious rock'n'roll songs in english.

It ain't a question of taste. If you don't like some genre or style it doesn't mean it's crap. I hate punk, metal and even rock in general (with several exceptions) but I don't call it crap nevertheless.
And btw, that's the only music I know 100% it's swedish ))) Generally I'm an IDM/minimal techno/electro/ambient fan.

One of his best appearances on swedish tv was when he was asked what political party he was going to vote for, and he answered (referring to the revolutionary communistic party KPLM(r)) "kp...kmp...klp...kml.. or what they're called!"
