I dled this really cool animated series called "The Venture Brothers" again Cheers sYn!
Prob is the 1st season have "audio" comments on, I quote the NFO"Audio commentary is included on the episodes that have them on the DVD as a second audio track." Running this with MP11, and I can't find any option where to turn the "Audio commentary" off.
I am also running "ffdshow" as it came with "K-Lite codec pack" If any of you guys have a trick here, please let me know as I really would like to watch this...without the commentaries. Cheers.

EDIT: Just like to add that its probably possible to run with another software....whatever. But I would like to know if its possible to turn off the "2nd audio track" in MP11/ffdshow all the same Razz

You can switch audio streams in haali media splitter(white icon in systray) but you shouldn't be hearing both audio streams at the same time, that's for sure...sounds like morgan stream switcher is interfering to me.That's what you get with these bloated codec packs like k-lite.

If the problem persists I suggest you dump k-lite and use cccp instead.
(ffdshow, haali, vsfilter and mpc included) all you need really.

Cox, get rid of any codec pack you have. Get ffdshow for any audio and MPEG4 ASP decoding, and CoreAVC for your MPEG4 AVC H264 decoding. Haali Media Splitter is also nice thing to have, especially when dealing with multiple audio streams and simple, outdated, and tbh tottaly crappy containers like AVI.

Well, that's highly unusual, to say the least...
It may just be a borked encode.

Anyway, grab the cccp insurgent off their website, do a test render of the problematic file and post the log on the playback help section of their forum along with a short description of your problem. They can tell you exactly what's going on just by looking at the log. Wink

Cox, did you install Haali Media Splitter and allow it to take ove AVIs as well? The problem with this file you have is you need a smart container splitter that would know to output only one audio track.

Cheers Inatan, that worked. I now see the Haali icon instead of the 2nd ffdshow icon. and no more audio commentary. Cheers guys! I guess I have to delete my post over at the CCCP forums now;)
