i was always a huge fan of ONLY!!! the first BF and all of it's extensions
so now i found a place where i can get an original cdkey for it so i can play online again
like in the good days 
anyway
do any of you know are there still ppl playing that game or it's extensions and if so which one tha' most

HL2 is not that popular, it is listed so high because CS:S uses the HL2 engine.

Indeed, click on HL2 and you'll see that 99% of player base is CSS. HL2 MP isn't popular at all.

I should hope so, BF42 is my favorite and the best BF game in the entire series.

my son plays bf1942 all the time , he has no trouble finding a busy low ping server.
bf1942 > all other bf games imo

If ya wanna play bf 1942 on a low-ping server, and you're from Europe, I recommend this one:

It's located in the Netherlands, and I'm (one of the) admins of it. So 90% of the time you aren't bothered by 12 years old tk'ers and such.
Just a suggestion though.
