Yeah thats what that shits called, Raiding. Everytime I ask them to do something in the evening they say they're raiding and the bastards that they do it with have them on a leash. They act like bitches in the game and get smacked around over the mic.
Gay shit.

Now this is a true story. My son has this "friend" at school, alright, now this..."friend's" mom actually wrote a letter to school saying hes sick, why?...so he could be home playing figging WOW for a week.
This crap is taking over our country's, god dammit the WHOLE WORLD IS AT RISK!. Think about it, maybe its all an evil scheme. The real Azerotharians will start crawling up through our sewage and take over...when ALL! of us are caught up...."WHAT? tell us....doing WHAAAAT!"
I tell you kids. "PLAYING FRIGGING WOW!"

Bitching...who is? I am only being sarcastic. I guess you are so deep in to "their" evil cult, you don't notice the difference any more. Come on son, walk in to the light and repent your wicked ways...there is still time.

You've gotta be a sick motherfucker to watch yours friends lives crumble in front of your eyes and thats the case in this situation, thats reason enough to care. And if they can't take responsibility and turn things around on their OWN. Someone else has to step in for their own good.
I may not have direct control but my influence alone can at least have a tiny effect. Im not even going to bother explaining, nevermind. Judging from your response alone, positivity doesn't seem to be something you strive for. |
I fuknig hate ppl that think they know wahts is best for me, just think some one came to you and told you to stop somthing you like doing. If they want to play the game fine, let them do that, they even pay for it, you have no right to stop them from it,you may be angry but you can't stop them.

Such as the model/map viewer from here:

(Funny to see that most content are from the 2.0 and 2.3 patches and not the real expansonsion though ofcoruse there's alot of cool things in the expansion files)
There's also different MPQ extractors but only MyWorldOfWarcraftToolKit proved usefull and Blizzard has banned that one and those who are found using it |
Dude, don't play on fucking retarded private server, you'll ruin your experience. Get 10 day free trial if you need to try it before buying, original WoW is ultra cheap now, like 20 euros and you get 30 days free with it.

Heh, yeah the private servers aren't going forward it seems, but emulating a mmo is no easy thing and it will probably be a long time untill playability even begins to come near the official servers.
(Most servers seem to be based on the 1.12 build with a few 2.0.1 hacks and TBC alpha's)
Good idea about a 30 day test run, didn't think about that and it seems like a good way to see the game as it's supposed to be and if it's fun one can always renew the account.
(Usually not that interested in online play but that's mainly due to the player community but ofcourse there are exepctions and a MMO could probably be quite fun)
EDIT: Based on the comment below it seems that there are a few servers who stand out from the usual ones, I know that WoWEmu died out some time ago and back then there weren't really that much that could match it but there were several promising projects so I guess those have become much more advanced.
(Mangos for instance releases daily builds though the databases available may not be updated as often as the core and the official mangos build still only supports 1.12.1 though there are 2.1 builds available due to the open source nature of the project)
And ofcourse on private servers you can also dictate the rules and such things like items and difficulty and even use beta items added with the patches.
(Tier 4, Tier 5 and Tier 6 along with the new TBC and 2.3 creatures for instance such as Maev, Miev, Archimonde, PitLord and that orc/ogre dude from WC3 mini-expansion to name some of them)

There are good private servers!! The one im playing on already supports TBC(2.0.5) and they are working on implenting the new features that came with it. Must stuff on it is working except we dont have as many players like a server does on offi(obviously) but it supports up to 5000 players. So dont judge private servers when you dont know nothing about them. If you dont want to spend the rest of your life raiding for tier sets and stuff like me play on private servers.

Mangos is a good emu however it lack few things i personnaly want, i use a emu called Laughing Kobold its also know as Ludmilla the emu has plenty of stuff working but its limited to 50 players but its the most closer to blizz like so far npc/mobs and boss have AI, weapon procs works +spell dmg item works, there should be an other release pretty soon, this week probaly supporting 2.0.1 WoW for now its 1.12.1 only.

Or should I say....They've ruined their lives? Take a good person, out going, talkative and goal oriented wanting to move forward in life then transform him to - Defensive, Anti-Social, +40 pounds, Depressed, and generally a loser and you get the outcome, oh yeah and broke.
The amount of hate I have developed for this game is un-expressable, even worse is when you tell that same friend "You rather pay to play this shit then go out and do something productive?" And his response due to the web the game has weaved in his mind is "What else is there to do?"
Fuck paying a monthly fee to play a game, Fuck this retarded ass "Far" too fairy tale shit game, Fuck the community of players who don't know whats good for themselves and instead continue to support eachother in wasting their lives away, Fuck prioritising some damn 7-12 P.M. get together in the game over shit thats actually meaningfull in life, Fuck this game in general I can't fuck it enough.
And sorry If i offended you, the people I respect who play this game are the ones who have the self control and sense of mind to play it casually not dedicate their lives to it and let the game dictate who they are.
Fuck it drives me crazy just talking about it! Fuck! |
Not that i play the game or eny thing, but i dont relly see the point in hating somthing you dont have eny control over. It there lifes they can do waht ever they want with it why do you even care? |

Think ill have to agree with Karmeck. Imo its up to each and everyone if they want to play an mmorpg and spend ours and ours. I don't see much difference in that or somebody sporting 7 days aweek. In the end it all comes down to do what you enjoy and if you enjoy playing - thats what you should do.
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

This generelazing... 8.000.000 players - I know quite a few people playing this game (excluding myself..I was playing daoc for 3.5 years though) and i know *NOBODY* who fits under this description. So imo this is a load of BS |
Who the hell was my statement directed to for it to be a generalization? Your friends? No! That was a specific case I pointed out in regards to one/many of MY friends. I pray to this day that I can successfully type something on a forum where a majority of the readers interpret what I say within the boundary of my intentions. Continue to mold and sculpt what I say the way you see fit, I don't blame you your defending your game.
Oh and to those sticking their face in the "its their lives let them do what they want" thats the same thing I hear across the board when it comes to this game but it honestly holds very little water under the right circumstances. Do I give a fuck if a bum on the street dedicates his life to WoW? Hell No! Do I care if its my best friend who's involvement in the game is having an extremely negative effect on his family/personal life? Hell Yes! Again continue to twist it how you want, but that mentality of individuality is created by situations like this. This scenario specifically spews the a man is for himself thought process, and unless you people are scared to death about being "cared" for people should/can take the initiative and help someone if the persons involvement in WoW is damaging on so many levels.
Can a single person here read something I say and not instantly take offense to it? And I need to make it clear, I understand not EVERYONE is this extreme of a case, but everywhere you turn people tend to swat you away from playing the game for a reason so its safe to come to the conclusion that this game can cause problems. I expressed my thoughts plain and simple. I've got nothing more to say, have fun playing!
Looks like i was misinterpreted, Theres always tomorrow!

KrAzY-KaMeL, this game can cause problems so does every other game out there. Look at crazy shit that was done under the influence of games like CS, GTA and others. Gaming is addictive in general.
