Is there no one playing this game??? I love Madden and this one is really good. Supersmooth with beautiful graphics. Great game.

If you don't mind me asking, what hardware did you use to burn the image of CD1?
My LiteOn LTR-52246s won't do it, it burns the images okay but won't load them up.
i just get the splash screen of a Baltimore Raven wearing a number 52 shirtand the cd-rom spins for minutes on end and then comes back with an error that it cannot locate the cd.
Any suggestions?

sorry to disturb you but I need your help...
I already posted my problem in the PC Games - Technical forum...but uit seems that the PC Games Arena has more success...
Here my problem :
I installed the game without any issue but I just cannot run it ...
If I mount the CD1 image on any daemon-tools or Alcohol virtuals disk, madden open a error message saying " recognise emulation program..virtual disk, please etc.. bla bla bla".
Oki, so I burned the image... I have the right Alcohol version recommended in the NFO:
- Burn CD1 with Alcohol 120% v1.9.2.1705, profile: SafeDisc 2/3, speed *4
well.. once done it doesn't work either... got a message saying "please remove and re-enter the disk, and re open the application."
Well, at this stage I'm lost... I burned the ISO with a plextor 2410 and alcohol didn't show up any problem regarding the profile (safedisc 2/3 etc...).
Maybe my burner is too old and cannot really burn properlly safedisc stuff...
anyway I need to know if I'm the only one...and if someone can help me...
@ copywrong : does madden work for you by just just mouting the image on a
alcohol virtual disk ???
If yes, can you tell me which setup you have (emulation or any particular stuff)
and which alcohol version you're using...

I can get mine working only if i mount cd1 in deamon tools (using the latest version). I can't get it going at all if i burn CD1 to a disc.

That's damn strange....
that's exactly what I tried to do...
I installed madden using virtaul disk...but it seems that the EXE recognised the fact that I was using a "emulation program" and asked me to "disable it"...
@ spud_work : can you tell me which setting you're using with daemontool...???
did you activated any option like :
- Enabling Protection Emulations
* Safedisc <--- NFO file mentioned safedisc 2/3
* Securom
* Laserlok
* Lockblocks
* Starforce
* CDCOPS
* Protect CD
My version is the lastest one :3.47

i've not selected any additional options in latest daemon tools, but i have uninstalled clonecd and alcohol 120 and that is what it may be detecting on your system

I downloaded it, i burned it according to the nfo, i can load it up, but it wont start after the splash intro demo screen...
Any suggestions? I cant run it form cd, Main.exe crashes, but i can mount it in alcohol and deamon tools.. can anyone try send me main.exe or something?

i cant stop laugh when im reading -TNT nfo's they act like a leaders and do cd-checks !

FINALLLY it WORKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THe problem was that madden recognised the presence of a "emulation program and asked me to disable it etc..."
The program was CLONECD !!!!!!!!!!!!
It just work as a charm with Alcohol...

if it crashes after the movie clip, just remane the folder with all the music files in for hte game nd it will work. Exactly the same thing affected some users last year
