Took me a while to pluck up the courage, and the dust is a pain but it's a breeze once you've done it once. Just raising the dpad a couple of mm and you'll never miss a dragon punch:)
Yeah I was looking at those first because I basically bought the PSP for the fighting games and it was so frustrating trying to play them. Capcom released an official dpad mod amongst others but it didn't solve the problem because the pad is still sunk to low beneath the case, so when you need to hit a diagonal you end up grinding your thumb into the outer casing half the time.
The guys example is a bit OTT imho, I just raised the pad with a bit of cut out card, certainly didn't have any freaking compressed air to hand lol.
Took me a few times to get it just right. The best material/thickness I found was using the plastic sleeve that came with a video tape. Similar to the NES sleeve the guy in the tutorial uses, and I used a basic UHU glue that would hold the thing in place but wasn't permanent so you can change it.
When I was searching through the PSP forums for mods most people had resorted to using the analogue nub to play SF/Darkstalkers. Can't think of anything worse.
