I "just" finished DS2 and installed the addon, but cannot get the import function to work although i just finished the game. Do i have to start a new SP-Campaign in the original DS2 for Broken World to get that i have finished it on the first difficulty level???

Ok, i helped myself by ignoring googles inability to come up with good hits and searched some dungeon siege sites and found a solution. The problem stems from a version conflict of the savegames and a loader exists to make ds2-bw accept other save-games as well.
Cant find the url again (read: cant be arsed to search for that damn thing again ), but if anybody wants it, either search for DS2BW_AllSaves_v2.msi or pm me =)
