But then again, for a Dutch wigger with the mental capacity of a 4 year old, even the word "the" might seem intimidating.

It's "TEH" and not "the" you n00b

Is it available for the European versions? or only for the american version?

I got a working legal account in the european servers, and i was just wondering if i can get to participate in the beta at the european servers.

2. Make sure you have World Of Warcraft enUS installed

I guess this means it won't work with an EU copy of WoW?

no, i already tried. Sad

You can easily convert the wow version from us to eu and the other way around.
Download winmpq Link: http://www.curse-gaming.com/en/wow/addons-177-1-winmpq.html and go to the folder Data with the program and choose the interface.mpq. Go down the list till you reach the file called wow.ini and double click.

ENGB:
[WoW Config]
Version=1
Country=GB
Language=en
Region=3

ENUS
[WoW Config]
Version=1
Country=US
Language=en
Region=1

change it to that and you have converted the game. Hope you understand Smile

Wonder if they will be able to prevent people with the retail version of world of warcraft and an account from installing the pirated version of burning crusade.

Easily blocked by having a separate cd-key for BC which you enter at the account page before being able to log in.

Those sandboxes you guys are talking about, are they just for walking alone in the world, or do they include some sort of quests?

I played the Beta, doing all content up to level 70. It is a decent addon, with nice new ideas and lots of timesinks to keep occupied with.

After playing Vanguard though I keep having doubts whether WoW is still worth my time.

the current best app to run wow tbc localy or in LAN is Mangos witch is open source also you got alot of stuff working also like PVP, Duels, Items, Mobs, NPC(Vendor & Such) Mounts & Flying mounts, quests and instance and i think battleground works also anyways i hope that help the few of you.

Yeah... but on the other hand it is not the game itself that makes an MMORPG interesting... it's the community behind it. I have an awesome guild, so I will be playing TBC for a while.

Still... Vanguard.... *swoon*

I hope TBC ruins WoW. Too many people ruin a community like that. Was pretty fun for a while there, but I just returned to EVE, dota, NHL2k7 and various 360 games online.

LOTRO is fun. Vanguard has potential.
