As I heard it isn't fully complete - the developers are talking about adding some more scenery to the bonus stages.

I'm not sure, only read it ..

If it's a review copy, it should be finished. Sites and mags never review anything but the finished version of the game.

I'm playing this from HDD with no problems - why is the HDD fix needed? As far as I can tell the game is complete. Have done 50 or so missions so far and no problems yet.

Glottis:::

What the f**k are you on about, you hope this game gets low reviews .. its people like you which the scene could do without .. If you don't like something why comment on it ????

Unreal, if you knew how accurate this conversion is to the orignal Outrun 2 arcade machine, I don't think you would be able to justify your comment ...

Enough said ..

hmmm it feels a bit slow. i dont know if thats cuz ive been playing burnout3 too much or the fact that it is indeed too slow. when drifting in some corners it feels like its going in 40km/h, not anywhere close to 200+ km/h as it states on the screen.

the missionmode seems better though. i had fun playing through the first stages, driving on blue, racing and the rest of the modes. only like 90 more to go. and of course one has to get triple A on all of them. Very Happy

it might grow on me, ive been looking forward to this one for way too long to let it be a letdown. Razz

I have just finished downloading outrun 2 for xbox from suprnova, and when i try to unrar it, its keeps asking for password as it is password protected. I have tried the password out3, it unrars to the end then says its the wrong password, so it doesn't give me the iso file, so does anyone have another password for it, i have tried eliteweb as well but the site is down. any help would be great thanks...

passwords on Supernova,i should of guessed, lol

Anyway got the game and its excellent, everything Outrun is all about.Speed seems fine to me (this isn't a ridiculas Burnout 3 speed freak game Smile )

Mission mode is excellent, plenty to do and certainly gets tougher to get triple "A" high scores - Heartattack mode is good fun for a laugh,Nice to see party mode also on the mission modes.

Overall very enjoyable and any Outrun fan who remembers the orginal game and loved that will love this

Another great racing game for the Xbox - which is what its all about

is there like a uber easy setting where I will get AAA without much fuss, I am playing it on easy and I got As and AAs but not one AAA

i got all AAA on 1st one, couple of AAA on 2nd route and i'm on route 3 now, basically you have to do perfect runs through the challanges using the maximum time allowed and not go flat out helps on some of them.Certianly a challange to get AAA scores

you mean the one where you must keep your speed above certain level whilst driving through the coloured zones?

If SO then yeah that was certainly the bloody hardest one to do so far, basically make sure your not powersliding round a bend before a zone, just slow down a little and pray that you got enought speed when you hit the zones, lol - and to not powerslide in the zones if possible - needless to say i didn't get a "A" till last section and it was the last heart at the end of the section - way tough!

Not true in all cases... I've several review copies that wasn't the final version of the game (examples that springs to mind; Rallisport Challenge and some RTS from Microsoft... Ages of... don't remember).

no idea but i don't use torrent files esp those who think they are above everyone else and password protect the FREE release's,i mean thats just not on - its meant to be free to everyone, not some lame password protection to stop people sharing
