i used to download PSX game images from a program and never checked to see if the download was finished. (I assumed when they werent on my now dling list it was done) I have the burned discs somewhere stored. Is there anyway I can tell if the game is the full image burned? I've tested them on my ps1 and they seem to all work. But I'm afraid they will stop working in the middle of the game or whatever b/c it might be missing data. Is there anyway, I can check my disks without having to play each game to the end?
P.S. I thought maybe if I checked the file size on the disc I would get an idea, but my friend told me when you burn an image it will say the full size of the image even if you burned the image before the file was complete. Can someone help me out with this?
I very much doubt you could burn an incomplete image (don't you d/l rar files and unpack them to attain the full image?)
Anyway if the image was incomplete i really cannot see how you could possibly burn it in the first place.. and don't worry if you did manage to burn it.. there is no way it would actually boot in the ps1, let alone allow you to play..
so in answer to your questions if the games work then the image is/was indeed complete.. it dosent work in the way that half an image would allow you to play half the game!
