Enemy Territory is alright, you get bored doing the same stuff all the time though.

then that would make this whole thread irrelevant. The point of this thread is to find games that are legally free to play online.

I would assume you could find the downoadable version on a place like file planet. Otherwise just download the razor1911 release and use it on that.

Since it's not a problem of cdkey seller of how you get a game you are on your own, but it's pretty easy. Just download any BF2 release, may it be clone or cracked, update to the latest version and use mini image.

I doubt that. He would have to download a warez version and use a dvd/cd mini image.

and WarROCK is better then that buggy shit made by EA , yeah EA ... news flash they bought and destroyed Dice , and NOW Dice don`t exist anymore , its now only a shitty trade mark , the same was made with Sierra by Vivendi Universal

Unless they've vastly improved warrock its the only buggy shit on the block. I played it for 2 or 3 months in beta, it was a fucking joke. horrible lag on every server and other weird shit caused by it. Unless you killed from a great distance you could never survive a close in fire fight against someone. Almost every 1 on 1 battle ended with both people dying. Even with them completely unaware if you opened up on them for some reason they still had plenty of time to turn around and unload on you and you'd both die. |
You're exaggerating about the lag, it was a bit like that when they first released it but last time I played(1 and half month ago) it wasn't THAT bad. I think they already released more patches so it must be even better right now. Warrock is worth a try imo.

True Combat:Elite

TrueCombat:Elite (TC:E) is a realistic first person shooter set against the backdrop of modern urban warfare.
The player can expect thrilling shootouts, an emphasis on tactical team play, engaging close quarter fighting and some of the best weapons of modern warfare.
<>
TCE is a 100% free game and comes in Windows, Linux and Macintosh versions. Although it needs the popular free Enemy Territory engine to run, it is a total conversion and is a whole different game, so check if out regardless if you are an ET fan or not!
<>
Some new features 0.49 include are:
- Texture Tone Mapping
- HDR Lighting
- Realistic scaling
- High quality sounds (44khz)
- Letterbox & widescreen modes - TrueVision
- Mac version
- Free climb
- Reworked weapon handling
- Reinforced OBJ, as Capture the Flag in stock maps.
- Bug fixes

How the hell did they manage to put HDR in Q3 engine?! Damn, that's fine programming!
