I'm pretty sure he's aware that it's the retail, that's why he said it could be possible that they meant they'd fix it in a patch.

Of course its the retail, MS doesnt put signatures to preview copys because thats what devkits are for (playing the unsigned previews and loaner review copys).

I just got a live problem with this game.
After play for like one hour, my game STOPED, whole xbox stoped.
I turn it off, and when started it again, i wasnt able to play the game, it goes to the my xbox screen with the "eject' option, but it goes very fast, and weird.
So i burned another copy, it worked fine, for like another hour, then the xbox stoped again, and again the game didnt run.
My thoughts:
Unplug your xbox from the internet before play it, at least until the oficial USA version release, in my view, the game is conecting on the live and checking that u are playing a non- released game yet, what have to be a downloaded game, so it lock the dvd in your save game.
Why? Cause if I delete my save game, both dvds run, but, again, they run for like one hour and stop the console rofl!
I just started again and without the ethernet, now the game is working fine with no crashs

So is this game amazing? This is the title that almost has me buying a 360, that and Gears... if this is good, I might have to get a 360 very soon.

Its ok. Coming from PC games primarily i have a very high standard. The levels are kind of short and mostly just finding a boss and fighting it. The human AI is generally retarded, and the boss fights are nearly all just the AI doing scripted fighting patterns. The bugs models are just amazing and behave like you would expect them too. Tons of awesome weapons, but i wish i could carry 3 instead of two. Some boss battles can be VERY frustrating as the use of rockets tend to blind your vision with the incredible smoke and fire effects.
Assuming the multiplayer is HALF as much fun as the demo was, its worth the game by itself. The singleplayer just leaves some things to be desired. The storyline and presentation is weak, the voiceacting is terrible, and the level design is a little bland. But, its still hella fun to play.
Id give it a 7.5 out of 10. Unlike GoW this shouldnt make you go out and buy the console JUST for this game....but it does make a nice 2nd or third game purchase.
(i know i sound kind of negative in this mini-review. its still a great game worth your time and money.)

that's really a nobrainer, you're probably the only one who had his 360 connected to live with a game that isn't out for at least 2 weeks.

I agree with tskiller. In the beginning the game is very cool, aliens like in this game are never seen before in a game. Like tskiller said the alien models and explosions are very impressive, but the gameplay is more and more of the same shit. Level after level shooting at almost anything that moves without other forms of gameplay.
I'm now at level 9, think i almost finished the game...

Yeah, just bought a new core system to replace the knacked console. It showed no symptoms of failing. Tried stripping down and using the heat gun method but no luck.....
