This will be like my other thread expect that it will only be for PSX emulated games on the PSP

Information :

This is a PS1 title for PSP from the Playstation store.

Copy the folder over to the root of your memory stick then
run from GAME folder, enjoy! This requires that you have
upgraded to the 3.02 OE-A firmware.

All Regions - Working with OE-A 3.02

Hot_Shots_Golf_2_USA_READNFO_PSX_For_PSP-DMU - 9X20MB
Crash_Bandicoot_USA_PS1_PSP-BLACKCATS/pSyPSP - EBOOT: 463 MB
Bio_Hazard_Directors_Cut_PSX_For_PSP-jjRun - 377MB
Cool_Boarders_USA_PS1_For_PSP-pSyPSP - 300 MB
Syphon_Filter_USA_READNFO_PS1_For_PSP-pSyPSP - 27x15
jh-tekken2psx4psp - Unk

All Regions - Not working with OE-A 3.02

Medevil - Requires Firmware 3.03

I'm not too sure, Seems like its 9 x 20 MB packed, So unpacked might fit a 512MB stick.

what is the extension a game has?

i have some ps1 cd's here, and perhaps i can put them on my stick?

It doesnt work liek that unfortunatly.

Anyway, the game is just in a eboot file called EBOOT.PBP Smile

Once inside the pbp file it seems the data is in DATA.PSAR

Crash works fine, The file extension is .PBP this means you can't use your own PSX backups. Only the ones SCE release via the PS3 playstation network.

just tried biohazard, the voices are in english but when u click to search things its in japanese, still worth a download to try out runs great

Will it be possible to run PSX on an emulated version of 3.02 in the future? Did Dark_Alex ever mention if it would one day be possible?

I have a virgin 1.5 and I really do not want to flash upgrade my virgin 1.5 to OE-A 3.02.

Will their be hope for those who only want to emulate firmwares using their virgin 1.5 PSP's

I really want to play PSX games on the PSP, I don't know how long I can hold out, if I see FInal Fantasy tactics or Castlevania Symphony of the Night being released I might crack and say fuck it, so much for my Virgin 1.5 Sad

I really don't want to do that though. If anyone knows anything about the future of devhook emulating the PSX for 1.5 users please post.

Having a virgin 1.5 is the same thing that a downgraded 1.5 nowadays. You should really go for the 3.02 OE-A. It´s your best choice! Completely stable with all the features working. If you don´t like it (it won´t happen) you can always downgrade using the official 1.5 update. Downgrading with the official update from sony will make your psp just like it was. An 1.5 virgin Very Happy
Besides, with this firmware working with the PSX roms, the need of developing a devhook version that integrates that feature is not a need.

Nothing has been noted so far, but I would expect it to come soon.. although there is no telling how fast the games would run..

I say just upgrade, I went from my virgin 1.0 to 1.5 then to 2.71 Custom.. been upgrading since and have never looked back.. not one regret, and the same goes for this latest firmware, its simply perfection!

Exactly what SuTuRa said....You can always go back if you don't like it which is very easy i might add...You will not regret it once you have upgraded trust us.. Wink

Tekken_2_USA_PS1_For_PSP-pSyPSP

Size - 38x15

This emulated PS1 game is for the new 3.02OE-A..
Copy it to your Memory Stick and boot as normal.
