That's correct but it's because I bought the german download version for about 42 euro, game is great so far so it was worth it, atleast untill the english version arrives and untill fade can be removed alltogether with whatever copy protection it will use.

Buying about 5 games a year isn't any problems and I earn enough to survive the occasional expenses that you get when you have computers and games as a hoby.
(Vista/DX10 system upgrade will kill my economy though from what I've calculated )

It´s a mess for sure, playing without 1.02 is out of the question, especially considering the new flight dynamics for the choppers. But it´s unplayable with fade....hehe
I will buy the game no matter how many times I´ve completed it with pirate versions when the Eng version is released, simply becuase Multiplayer coop will kick some serious ass and also to support the company.
From what I´ve experienced so far in ArmA its nominated for my game of the year despite the numerous bugs in the game

The French version of ArmA will also contain a very new mission “blood, sweat and tears” which will make it possible to the player to incarnate is Cpt. This really is sad. You can get a whole bunch of pirate software on torrents but not one single demo. When will these morons learn to use the potential?

Apart from getting a fucking lot of "session lost" after playing 1 minute on a server, I happened on a really great bug. Whline playing on a server, the guy I played started running around by himself. I couldn't run, but I still could shoot. But the player was acting logically, not just running like a plucked hen.
After a while we figured out that another player was playing the running part, and I played the shooting part of the soldier! Mr. Green
And it seemed like we weren't the only 2 that had that fucked up problem on that server.

Also, what the hell is the point with that ping-indicator? No numbers, just 1-3 boxes with ticks in them...??
And the connection screen didn't say anything about wich map and so on the server was running. Just CTF or COOP or "TEAM" (?), number of players and what the server was called.
Probably the most bizarre demo I've ever played. Who needs drugs when we got buggy games?

A typical post from someone who don't have a clue what he is talking about and what it means to make a game this magnitude.

The team lost alot of money during the departure from Codemasters, and they are still only 8 people working on the game.
