I heared from someone on forums that it wll kill the head cuz they turn up the rate of the reading of the disk or something like that, and its not safe to play with copy games on the net? Help plz to decide.Sry for my bad english.

It's fine to flash it, but use non-retail games on Xbox Live at your own discretion.

as with all copies it will add some degree of extra wear on the laser but you might never notice it My PS2 has ran copies for about 3 years and its fine where as some people have played copies on a PS2 for half a year and needed a new laser...

Realy its your own choice, cheap copies which may damage the laser or high rip off prices which you can atleast play safe online with Razz

oh so even with a flashed xbox 360, you can still use your originals online and microsoft won't be able to detect that you have flashed the firmware?

Sorry by "It's fine to flash it", I meant he isn't really going to have any issues with the DVD Drive breaking any time soon, it does, as Steve-O says, increase wear and tear on the laser but nothing major and sometimes it's never noticeable in terms of how long your console lasts. You would still get caught and "shut off" Xbox Live for using a flashed DVD Drive even if you are using an original game, as you've tampered with the system.

Sorry to hear about the Xbox / Ps2 getting stolen, that sucks :/

Not many of the newer Xbox360 models can be flashed, if I was getting another one I'd either get a refurbished model or get a second hand one which has a higher chance at being one of the "better" drives to flash with.

the v78 Hitachis can be flashed as of today, so a new 360 should be fine.

Which is a good thing. I wouldn't expect a second-hand first generation 360 to last that long. Thats definitely something the newer models have over the older ones, increased reliability.
