Most of the people are playing this game with high specs pc's. Has anyone played the game with a little bit lower system specs? I have a AMD64 3500+ 1GB GF6800GT and was wondering if someone has played on a simmilar system? What settings and resolution and FPS did you used/have?

i just got this from another forum, can someone try ths please,to get the map editor working..

QUOTE-
create a new shortcut to the game.
Right click on the shortcut and click properties
In the target field add ' editor' at the end.
If you target is inside of " " add ' editor' minus the single quotes outside of the double quotes. Then try running it from that shortcut.

Target: "C:\RavenShield\Binaries\RSV.exe" editor

I noticed other UE3 games were not using a separate program for the editor, it was the same exe, so hopefully that will work for us too -UNQUOTE

wow, if you guys are blaming the 8800's for the bad performance your morons, wait 6 months at least before you buy new technology

@broken, you're so goddamn stupid it fucking hurts. its not even supported by vista yet and its a dx10 card (nvidia drivers)

Nah, thats you Wink You don't know what you're talking about and you don't even own the damn thing so just be quiet already. You obviously have no idea about the 8800 or the way its being marketed. When you own one and are faced with the problems we (8800 owners) are faced with, I'll be interested to hear your opinion. Now STFU, seriously.

B

PS : Not even supported by Vista? Are you retarded? Pick up any 8800 box and tell me what you find written on it? If Vista isn't supported, then those boxes need some fixing. Like I said, you clearly don't have a clue about the 8800. I've bought plenty of new tech in my time, but never any that is as under supported and almost fraudulently marketed as the 8800 series.

What version of DT do you have?

Also this line in the nfo is important for those it concerns: **Note** You need to uninstall EZ-Play Maintenance tool of Blindwrite tool.

Killed it, how? It's more of a great home-coming of the series after the HORRIBLE Lockdown.

Well, after playing it for a while, I have to say it is way better than R6 : Letdown. Performance issues aside it is great fun. Shame its a console port but after R6 : Letdown, I'll take what I can get.

thats very very strange.

mini review(very mini)

gfx are basically low quality textures(thanks to consoles). max res 1600x1200. but thats the only bad thing, the gfx. gameplay is really great. the enemy AI is pretty good and the shootinf from cover has to be the best feature ive seen before(yeah other games used it but none as realistically as this).

gfx 6.5/10
gameplay 10/10
AI 9/10

overall id give this 8.5/10. its a very good game.
