Hi,
I just bought this DVD (DAWN OF THE DEAD 2004 DVD REGION 1 ) and it says DVD 9, DUAL LAYER all over it, But it Will Fit onto a DVD5 Disc Perfectly... So why release it on a DVD9 disc when a DVD5 disc would have been fine???
ALSO, If the Case and DVD dont have a Age limit on (you know them PG, 12, 15, 18 Signs they put on them), Does this mean its the UNRATED Version??

I highly doubt you bought a legit version of it. The official Region 1 release isn't till October 26th. Check to see if the extras work. I doubt they do.

That looks identical to the BOOZERS release. Can you play DTS? DTS was ripped in the BOOZERS copy.

Its all there
Bonus parts, DTS, 5.1, Subtitles, Scene Selection Etc Etc Etc Etc...
BTW, Its DVD Quality... THem Pictures and that Video are VERY VERY Bad Quality because I took the picture with my Digital camera pointing it at a TV.

DVD5 with DTS? Another thing to test, wether the files encrypted on the disc.

I have the region 3 original and menus look the same as yours. If you are surprised as to why it fits onto a dvd 5 then you have your answer. It's a copy. Albeit a good one but still a copy. Great movie though, enjoy.

Ok then, how do I tell if the DVD is UNRATED ?? (WHat was in the Unrated version of Dawn Of the Dead??)

Give up Steve-0 2004, it's a pirate dvd!!!! Just enjoy it. Retail region 1 is out soon, october 5 I think.

Thank's hahe, didn't know that. Bought region 3 a while back anyways and from what I gathered it's basically the same release. Universal releases their own stuff worldwide.
