yeah, I like watching a dvd I've already seen before, and try to visualize it in my mind with my eyes closed while the sound plays.

works great for falling asleep ... keeps your mind busy and stops it from thinking about your worries too much Smile

Watching shows ive seen used to work for me.

But I find the light and the noise from the tv a lil to distracting to sleep. usually i lay there in the dark and try to sleep. If I cant, then i flick the tv back on.

I read 1 or 2 books a week, i find its the only 'escapism' that works for me.. I rarely watch tv or films as they just dont 'do it' for me.. always read books since i was a kid.. so maybe thats why..

Ive never had a tv in the bedroom even as a kid.. find that very odd - but i know a lot like watching tv in bed

I can't really relax right now. Best relaxation for me is to come to my parents house, to my old room, on a rainy night ( I have roof window so it's a great mood setter when it's raining), lie in my confy bed, connect my laptop to the tv, get some cake/chockolate/chips and watch a good movie.

Other than that, naps in that same bed are greeeeat, I never nap here, but when I'm home I just love it, better than falling asleep at night definately.

thats the worst i could do. that just fucks me up. same with music. to tired to turn it off but not tired enough to not listen to it. just going out for a walk in the cold and darkness will relax me. but make sure there are no bars Smile
