I have no words, and this is NOT going to be out on PC. They say they are not making it for anything but X360, nor they have any plans on making it.
I am actually considering buying a console; WTF is happenening to PC gaming?

Don't they always say that....360 exclusive blah blah blah.
It's only a statement to boost console sales. i'm sure it will be on pc EVENTUALLY,just like Jade Empire...to my knowledge,they weren't planning on making a pc version of that either when it was released on xbox.

Well usually when they say it's exclusive, what they really mean is by the time they bring it out on other platforms it'll be so far past it's sell by date no-one will care anyway.
But Halo 2 hasn't come out for the PC, so who knows.

Chris Priestly: Mass Effect is planned as an Xbox 360 exclusive title. This means we are not working on a PC version and have no plans to start making one.
7. Why on Earth did you choose to make this game on Xbox 360 and not on my [insert your favourite platform here]?
Bob McCabe: We chose 360 because we have a really great relationship with Microsoft and find that they're constantly pushing us to develop the best products we're capable of.
Plus, we've worked with them before and have built up a nice rapport.
And then there's the fact that they've kept us up-to-date with their vision for the 360 since the beginning, and they've supplied us with alpha versions and beta versions of their console along the way. It's really helped us learn the intricacies of the unit, and feel ready to bring our game to their system. |

so now Bioware make two games :
Dragon Age - PC in 2008 q2
Mass Effect - Xbox360 (and PC in 2008)
yes PC hey Kotor was xbox exclusive pfff

isnt it the point to make you buy the 360 by saying it wont be out on PC? well if it wont come out on PC they can stuff it. Bioware sold out to microsoft long ago (starting with kotor). I wont buy an xbox360 pc emulatorconsolefordumbppl, got a good pc right here.

anyway the only thing about this game are the great shader shadows with bump mapping , but ass you can see the textures are low resolution ... anyway its U3 engine so after a year Vista will have some bunch new games that will lure the pc gamer to the new system and DX10 gfx /read buy new GFX + 1.2kw PSU /
looks like in 2008 Vista will win the games market for good

Well dx10 cards wont do you any good if you dont have good games to play. I mean with all the shit that is comming out right now, i reinstalled my old games (farcry, cod, san andreas).
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

I read about Mass Effect in PC Gamer a few days ago, and they say that it'll be out for xbox 360 and PC..
Original plan was 360 exclusive tho

Wouldn't that be three games, since they are working on the PC version of Jade Empire as well?
Looks sweet. Definetly looks like A+ title as usual from the BioWare stable.

haha yeah right.. only thing crysis will have is effects.. thats it, mass effect will have everything a game should have and bioware can make the best games and not just focus on graphics and making people spend600 bucks to see some fancy effects. |

the game play mechanics looks the same like in Kotor but the only thing that will be new are the Fahrenheit type of talking to people + the combat mode looks exactly the same like in Gears of war ... mix those 3 and you get Mass Effect |
