Well a friend of mine got a 10 Mb/s line (ethernet) wire to the internet some years ago. I was really really jealous. He started to collect all kinds of protected material and within a few weeks he bought bigger harddisks and then he ordered tons of CDs, later replaced by DVDs, etc. It kinda opened my eyes and i quited burning the stuff i downloaded. I download, consume and delete and my 8/1 Mb/s ADSL line is good enough for me.

Icon has a point... when i first got broadband i started downloading everything i could get hold of - simply to use the service.

Then i realised 80% of the crap i was d/l and burning was sitting in dvd spindles gathering dust Very Happy bit more choosy now..

still, would like that FAST line though Razz

I am the same way as you two. I don't d/l anywhere near what I used to. I still have movies I haven't even seen yet. I do more research before I grab things.

The biggest ISP here; Telenor just said it will be a class gap in Norway, 50% of Norway is gonna get pretty good connections. The rest not that good. To many people living far away from the cities, so its hard to deliver. But what i can't understand is Telenor saying "we're gonna use more copper but with new technology...eh.. wtf" The same cables who came in the 60s..

Well, im getting 10mbit soon, so my life goes on :\
