Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible to plug the Wii to a computer screen instead of a TV. Aparently there's a DVI input on the Wii but a friend told me there could be problems with sound.
Where does the sound come from? I don't have embedded speakers in my computer screen, so does that mean i can't play with sound?

If that's possible, I won't have to fight over the only tv in the house to play

yes i do have separate speakers. but i've never known a console where you could plug them on it. Never seen an audio jack (out) on a PS2, xbox or gamecube (my sega megadrive did have one tho ).

yeah never mind. i can't find any trace of a dvi port on a Wii after all. guess the info my friend gave me was false. no Wii for Mii

The multi av connector should have a lead that allows sound to a separate amp. Couple that with a DVI output and it should work.

They are on the AV Lead Smile... Its the Red and White connector (They are the audio)

i played my GC on my computer screen, so should be possible for the Wii also, be sure to plug into the right hole. Because my pc has a separate hole for In and Out signal Wink

yeah i can play GC on my computer screen, and put tv distribution cable in my pc and output it to my tv, useful

I found a DVI adapter for the Xbox360. Can this also work for the Wii?
