argh this fricking BLOWS... and the fact that ur all hyping this game up just makes it even worse!
now even though i have a minimal understanding of german i still refuse to get it since i'm not nearly proficient enough and don't wanna miss out on all (i'm sure it is) excellent dialogue.
english version NAO!

I tell you that you would need some intermediate knowledge of German to play this properly, even advanced actually. You would miss out on to many clues and stuff otherwise.

i'm in chapter two i have the 'dead' bird and have to bring him back alive. Now i've to change the monkey for the gps from koala but it doesn't work out. I talked to kai and went back to the military camp to write something down in the booklet and i've to go to the north-east to find the cottage of the shaman. I also talked to o'connell to get a conversation about the gps but he doesn't say anyhing about it. Can somebody help me out please ?

Yes, I finished it. I would advise you to wait for a version you fully understand. There is a lot of great dialog you're gonna miss this way.

I know but the game is too nice to wait, i have another question and this time i'll use the spoilertag:
