Worked great for me that way as well. First mission I try though and its still fucked up, drive 3km to pick up a squad and they won't get in the friggin truck!!

Didn't worked for me only the damn tutorial mission are czech and the third mission
i'm reinstalling the game the 8th time today now LOL!!

Ok, well I completely wiped Arma off, uninstalled and deleted folders. Then installed with cracked mds file and the original czech key. Copied over the cracked update files and then ran the english patch. Are you doing anything differently?

You are getting that error because you havent removed modded files from previous install, it gives that error because it cant find the 'pure' files, only the 'patched' files.

I am far too lazy to read through this entire thread - and to be honest ive not been following it.. But you guys seem to love this game, so one simple question:
When is the 'proper' English vers out?

What ya mean by proper dude there is mod on official bis forum that translate game 99% to english only speech left in CZ are stupid tv news intros. Other speech is english by default.

The translations aren't perfect but they are good enough. The proper english release should be patched to a better state as well by the time it comes out.

I have the german rls as an image on my hdd. Got it installed with some key i found. I don't mind the German language so i'm not interested in patch it to english.
When running the thing i get some securom 7 messages (not at hand atm cause a work). Both with Alcohol and DT.
I tried YASU1.3 to no avail.
Anyone lucky already, if yes, how?

you must set rmps on in daemon tools and what i forgot to say use the fixed MDS file from the czech release

I'm totally n00b here. Are you talking about:
1. Burning the german image with the fixed czech mds and this rmps setting
OR
2. Mounting with DT the german image with the czech fixed mds + a certain rmps setting in DT

i got the german version but doesnt work, gives me an error about a conflict with my emulator

But now i want to know what version is the fastest. I know most of the time starforce slows down games. So maybe the german is faster after the 1.01 patch. I don''t no maybe someone who has tried them both can tell us that 
(tecnically you could claim its not a request..but hey)
