The new 360's i hear are not reliable for flashing! What you think of this?
I hear the new xbox 360's that have come out after July 2006 up till now use the Hitachi 0078 drive, i hear from some sites that they can be flashed but are just not very reliable as of yet but will be soon. Do you know anything about this?
The v78 Hitachi drive requires an external programmer if I remember correctly. It's not as simple as the older versions of the Hitachi drive. Anyway, it's not worth the hassle if you have a drive that new as modchips (good ones, 2nd/3rd generation) will be alot more reliable than ripping your Xbox360 apart constantly to piss about with Firmware.
