alright just played this. flushed the toilet and it went all crazy like for u ppl. when will i ever learn Sad. neway i closed it and started a new game and it was still fucked. is there an easier way of removin this glitch than closin the app and doin it again?

yes there is. When the screen gets corrupted, hit escape, go to gfx options, and turn off trilinear filtering. This should fix it. Hit escape again, and turn it back on.

Has anyone figured out how to enable detailed textures btw? This is killing me

This game is amazing. Sounds are so goood with 5.1. Runs greath with my old hagged gfx card. Scary as hell. Almost pissed my pans a few times, I actually dont want to go into a room what is full of blood and dead bodies and you can hear some monster walking on the sealing. Still shaking...

Oh and I chose to kill every one. The voices in your head are the bomb.

All games dont support 5.1 setup. I have 2 speakers at back. So when in the game some monster is behind me the sound comes from the back one(s) so its like the monster is behind me. Sometimes I have to look to make sure Razz

Although i am enjoying this game immensely, i get the feeling it's quite short. I've been playin for about 3 hours, and am already up to level 5.

The game features says there are 9 levels. That's an awefully short game. Ahh well, the price you must opay for quality over quantity.

Confused

Ur hanging problem is prob due to some incompatible driver etc. It works fine here on a 9800 pro

Yeah, detailed textures are greyed out that's a bummer.

I thought the port is one of the best u can get. Controls are excellent, gfx are perfect as is. You have to play this game in minimal brightness, else it looks crap.

1. that's not only my problem.
2. R2xx - it means 8500/9000/9100/9200.
3. yes.. it's still a great game.

For you guys that have True Crime and Sufferng and they won't start:
For some reason the games don't run on the Thunderbird processors, you are screwed unless you switch/upgrade.

Its all about respect. You just cant use others tools and say you did it. Its wrong to the whole "community". Lets not talk about this anymore. Focus on the game.

I got that extra cd. Wild clips. That jail is just so scary in real life. Would like to visit it at night - just the thought of it freaks me out.

can anyone help with the gamma thingy?? when i click accept to change it to make it brighter and it only get brigher for 1-2 second and turn back to the normal gamma .. any idea on how to fix this ??

start the game, go to options, select the brightness level you want, change your screen resolution to something other than what it is currently, accept. Then change the resolution back to what you want.

Gamma should stay at whatever level you desire.

i already figure it out, but thanks anyway..

btw, the game slow down for like 30 sec when u click on the control option, does this happend to anyway or is it just me?

This game fails severly in trying to scare you, just hordes of enemies all of the time so no tension is ever built up (they try a bit in the begining, but isnt any more scary than the begining of Unreal 1). Graphics is ok and sound is alright but it sounds very stupid when the same phrase is repeated over and over. The level design was very dull and uninspiring, the enemies you encounter was a bit more original though.

Thief3 is miles and miles ahead when it comes to building up tension and has much better / smarter soundFX + it has better shadows (very important in a horror game), and much scarier just because you cant get away with slaughtering everything in sight. 65/100 would be my score.
