Anywho, they've obviously been put on the forum for a reason, they're not obtrusive to the design or the content so i don't see any issues.. more to the point, if you have a real problem (ala. Reg67's computer addicted child) then use an add blocker..

it takes a bit longer to load/refresh page coz they changing all the time,but who are we after all just users u ze boss right?
if they stay perm how to block them with opera?
also web layout can have some changes like put OPTIONS up or down so it won't take extra side scrolling for wide messages
and make log off function pliz

Wouldnt be quite so bad if they were updated and some new ones were added. As much as I am drawn to them every time I visit this forum it would be nice to see some different ones. lol.

I never see them, I have firefox 2.0 with NoScript-addon (it's are blocked by default).
And for the wifey situation, just tell/show her that it's not porn (that it's a ad). How hard can it be, If you are married, something like a ad shouldnt be a big deal imo (but then again,I'm not married).
Kids, ya.. Just switch to another webpage or something, dunno (If you can't take some time to block it).
For me, the ad is not a problem, because I don't see it.
