I couldn't do it with the method Cyborgmatt uses. But i found an other way. I change the cd-key in the memory of the game, that way you dont have the same cd-key and you can play together. I'm looking into making an exe file that does this.

Yeap I just tested my method again with another set of people and it worked perfectly fine.

Also to note I'm not the only one hosting, so far I've had 4 hosts that have used my method and it worked perfectly fine for them as well.

You are OBVIOUSLY doing something wrong. I have hosted games, my friends have hosted games, WE ALL HAVE SAME KEY and can join each other for games. 5 of us have been doing it all weekend.

I just hosted a game, 1 other joined, he kept reconnecting and disconnecting, so I assume he was getting the cdkey error. So I waited from him to connect again and as soon as he did I hit go and we were both in the game. I managed to connect to a server last night at one point, then later I tried other servers and I was getting the CD Key in use error Confused Confused Confused

Just tried again with someone else using exactly the same method as before and they coudln't connect. I am CONVINCED there is more than 1 CD Key in use.
