Anyone know of a hack for 3.8 to play skirmish offline? The one above me is just if you log in to GPGNet.

Nukes are lame... Launch one = win. Just had my first "match" against easy ai, just to check stuff out, but nukes really blast your enemy to pieces...
But overall, i liked the game alot, huge maps, nice gfx, lots of construction options and this game brings back both of sea and air battles, which were lost in a lot of previous RTS games...

Anyone have a spare beta key they aren't using? Fileplanet closed the signups and I would love to give this game a try.

So has it improved much since the second beta patch? That ran like shit on my computer, whereas the original beta release ran great.

The beta was merged with the retail codebase so it's really alot more stable and with fewer memory leaks, but theres still some issues to be worked out, but there will be a large patch on release day so it's all good
Aeon Faction Pack, Game UK Preorder
Cybran -Faction Pack, Play.com Preorder
UEF Faction Pack, Amazon UK Preorder
Ordinary Supreme Commander, Game UK Preorder
The faction packs contains the following
Quote: |
-Box design based on Faction Icon
-Poster 1 - Faction poster art on one side, Faction ACU image on reverse
-Poster 2 - Tech tree and Galactic Map double-sided poster
-Lenticular postcard with Faction Imagery
-Bonus faction DVD including: screenshots, hi-res imagery/art/renders, unitprofiles/imagery/descriptions, wallpaper, fan-site kits
-Chris Taylor interview talking about faction back-story, play tactics, experimental units
-Making of Supreme Commander video
|
Let me say the posters look good on your wall, with tech trees and a map of the galaxy in Supreme commander
So pick your poison and order the release is february the 16th.

Yes the Cybran faction pack is my favorite aswell , personally I can't wait to see some of the mods and maps which will get created
Official unit packs will come, but whats really interesting is the unit/building packs the community will create.
