No episode this week cuz of Thanksgiving.
Next episode is on Thursday where:
Michael tries to be supportive when he finds out one of his new employees -- presumably someone from the Stamford branch -- has a prison record.

This is one OL! thread. But no matter.
After seeing some episodes from series 3 I am all for it. Not as clever as the UK one, but still pretty funny.
Loved the episode where Michael is wearing a woman's business suit...not knowing it until this guy that wants a pay raise points it out

I guess you have to ignore the fact that it started of based on the UK version. It's a totally different show, well it sort of have the same format (fly on the wall kind of thing) but the humour in the US version is much more direct and somewhat wackier.
The US version still have a bit of the "embarrassment" comedy from the UK series, but it's not the main theme.

Please just watch "The Office S03E03"...PLEASE! you gonna love it! 
Let's just say it has a "COD" theme to it

The first season of US office was shit compared to uk version but from season 2 it was really good except some episodes ofc as with most good shows.

True, season 2 and the rest are really really good, but now i'm up to season 7 and it's turned really bad. Does it get better later ? (I'm at s07e03 and dying of boredom)
Anyone who is up to season 8 : Should I just drop it ?

after carrell left things got a lot worse. There are some good bits and even some good full episodes, but the quality is much much lower.

US version was a lot better than the UK version imo, Gervais is just a heartless prick in the series. A lot more interesting characters in the US version too.. But yeah after Carell disapeared it's not very good at all (i think i saw like 4 episodes).. Can't complain though, 7 seasons that are almost perfect apart from a few weak episodes.
