MP on XBL I assume? I havent played any backed up games on XBL yet. I find the idea a bit daunting but its probably just paranoia lol.

Erm... Anyone else tried this on Live? Disappointed like me? I spent an hour on it last night, and well, the frantic fun-filled close combat and hectic battles of COD2 are gone, along with the small compact and memorable maps, and replaced with massive unmemorable towns and a rather lame and weak online experience. Anyone else disappointed? And I much preferred the old 'lobby' system, this new system kept throwing me out of games that clearly had 16/24 users with a message "no available slots". Seems the Live element went backwards not forwards. The single player game seems really good though.

very disappointing game, not even improved graphics if you ask me.
good thing we got GOW which is somewhat good, and Rainbow six which looks very promising judging from the demo

anyone else with lock ups ??
my game hangs in the second level (rain/bunkers) at random places.
and no !! its not my media or burn speed cause i burned over 30 games and all work fine.

Visually, the game is a definite improvement on COD2.

lol no! I believe its just a COD engine heavily upgraded since the original Call of Duty game.

m8 try the vortex release instead of dagger release if it keeps happening

I've got the same problem with my disc. I'm running the PAL version of the release, put the disc in and it starts to load then it dumps me back to the dashboard. I ejected the disc and put it back in and the game loaded. I was able to play the first couple levels until I got to another loading (3 stars) screen.
There is an error tab that pops up when it kicks me out of the game. It happens so fast I can't read what it says.. I have had problems with certain games in the past. It turns out to be a bad dump or something with the ss.bin file is not quite right. Farcry use to crash to the dashboard on me when it was loading levels. When stuff happened in the game the audio was choppy.
I am grabbing the NTSC release to see if this fixes my problem.
