i am stuck, i got the coins and i need to go to teh station. i went there but i cant seem to find where to put the coins. i try to put them on the red machines and it doesnt work. what am i suppose to do please help

I"m stuck a few levels above you so I'll help peps stuck on lower levels
Go to the turnstyles to reach the lower levels of the station there 4 of them.Standing between the 2 ticket windows you can pan and see all 4 turnstyles 2 on the left 2 on the right, its the first one on the right side The token reciever is right next to the turnstyle on the left it can be tricky thats where you use them. Worked for me
Tip: Google Silent Hill 4 FAQ there's several walkthru's out

I like how you can charge your weapon before swinging it. Its a real nice touch and makes battering the twisted abominations you come across a heck of a lot more exciting! I haven't played it much but Im at the part where you have to go up the very long escalators and the things in the wall keep knocking me back. Its really frustrating to say the least! I shoot one of them and move past it and then the guy wont aim at the next one! Instead he aims at the one I already shot which then comes back to life and lashes out at me! aarrgghhh!!

I saw your posted solution thats my sitution now hope it works for me these puzzels are starting to be a pain in the ass and they get even worse later on in the game

Now stuck on apartment level (5) I think where you use keys to open apts. and get some mail.I got all the keys but game say's I can't use them where I'm suppose to like opening apt doors.
Any tips why they don't work or what I'm doing wrong?

I'm stuck on the same place...
I've opened all the rooms (using the keypass on the director's room), but now I have to go to the room number 303, but I have to find it's key first...
anyone know where it is?
and what do I have to do with the toy that the strange guy gave me on the beginning of the stage?

you must get all the scraps of red paper and put them under your door and go back to your apt and read them a key will appear next to your bed by your window per 1 scrap of paper get key then go to room 303 and your done

The game looks okay, but the controls SUCK ARSE. I mean for a start the mouse up / down sensitivity is way to high and about 30 times faster than the left / right sensitivity. And you can't change the mouse to reverse (up = down, down = up) even if you set it to reverse in the options, lame :/

nice game i finished it. it is scary. if you like story games that has meaning and deapth this is for u. lately few games have that , most are just plain without a story so u can follow. As the game progresses it takes u depeer and depeer and hard to put down. it is 6 to 7 hours long, i finsihed it in a few weekends. I missed the 3 one so i am going to play teh 3 one now. Thanks VENGEANCE for this nice release.

the 3rd one to me was better.. and the gfx were 10x better..
BUT the controls of all silent hill games suck.. konami honestly dont know what they are up 2 with them lol..
U need to use a gamepad with all silent hill games i rekon.. im playing this one with one.

I agree, the graphics are very lame compared to silent hill 3 or 2. Damn it even reminds me of the graphics from silent hill 1 for the psx.
I just don't get how konami could go down from the great progress they achived with silent hill 3. The lack of graphic options is a bitch as well.

Finished it Saturday and the ending was a little lame as well as graphics.You think they would have done a better job with the graphics buy now it really starting to show its age.Story line is OK but felt like I was playing SH3 at times with a different ending.This could be the end of the series for me unless they overhaul the graphics and storyline for the next one. There's no excuse for playing the same looking, redundant gameplay and storyllne( save town or girl from cult with no real answers to to many unanswered questions) for future Silent Hills when I done it all before.The next won should rap it all up and put an end to the series.Just how many times can you save someone from cult worshipers without it getting old

I saw the game today and i have a question
Is there other camera?Because it begins at first person mode and i dont find any button for changing camera.Or the game automatically changes the cameras at every level?

i have finished the game today but when i kill the last monster the game end immediately with statics... no video... nothing.. where's the end? where's eileen gone during i was killing the monster?? are there any alternative endings/finals? pls help me!!! roje u said you have finished it.. so pls answer me P.S: what is that savegame at the end of the game? in my stats there was written "21 sacraments ENDING"

I also had this "21 sacrements" ending, but I had a cinematic movie before the "ranking screen".
I've read on gamefaqs.net that there are 4 endings (I think).
And for the "misterious" save at the end of the game, it is needed to get extra weapons or to have the other endings (read: you have to do the game several times to have all the endings).
Read a faq on gamefaqs for more information.
