I love that!
To stop it from bleeding, this will hurt a lot, put some after shave on it.
Trust me.

Razors slice really clean and the blood has a harder time clotting. Blood needs roughness to set off the coagulation cascade so it can begin to clott. Use a septic pencil if ya have one. If not use a bit of flour, it will set off the clotting factors.
In the lab we have vacu tubes that are coated with ground glass used for blood collection which work on the same principle. Some chem tests have to be done on serum portion of the blood in which all clotting factors have been used up.
Just stick some flour on it. It is too hard to explain.
After shave is going to kill the surrounding skin around it. That is why you aren't suppose to use alochol on cuts now. Just soap. That was what I was told in my training anyway. I don't know if it has changed

You love what?! lol ... and whatever you love, why do you love it!? |
I shave twice a day. Morning and night. At night there's no hair nothing. Takes a time for me to grow. but I love scraping/shaving dead skin. And sometimes under the nose I shave roughly. Like I push the razor down really hard and shave. Cut my nose couple times.
I love the feeling. And when it bleeds a lot, i always put some after shave on it. It stops the bleeding for me. Maybe I never had a deep cut like you or summin... still, when ever I have a cut or two or more I always put some after shave on my hands and wet my face. Feels awesome.

@headshot
haha thanks. Only on 1 thread before.
(I should of said apply pressure)
I did bloodwork when I was working. I still find it really interesting fascinating actually. I have taken blood from just about every body part. Big toes, the neck. Bench work gets boring pretty fast tho, lots of standing and it kills your back.
Did it work?

I shave my parts about every 3 days I think. Its weird I don’t seem too get razor burn either. I am always cutting the back of my ankle. I go far too fast and I don’t know that I have done it. I get outta the bath and 30 sec later I have drops of blood all over the floor. Here is an interesting blood fact. Hot water increases blood flow 7 times so that little nick (sometimes it is not so little) bleeds 7 times more.
It must be weird for guys to shave the face if you have hair that goes in thick. There would be a roughness to the razor. I think it would be neat to shave a guys face. Give the hot steamy towel treatment. It would be cool. It was have to be a guy with naturally thick beard hair.
I would hate to see waldo with a straight razor. I think that is what they are called.

Give it some time. I've been looking for one for a while now.
When I find one, it's gonna be so awesome!
headshot, instead of flour... use salt. It may sting a bit, but it'll work

Vinegar? Wtf? You wanna eat your nose or just stop the bleeding?
No honestly. Salt sucks it up and dries it up. Doesn't it? It stings like hell, but it stops bleeding.

you could apply some pressure on the wound...that's what medics do . Press hard for 3-4minutes and it might stop. Of course, it might not stop cause that area is highly sensitive...anyway don't be such a pussy about it, it's only a scratch

I don't think that putting flour on an open wound is such a good idea. Although it will speed up the clotting, it's not sterile and will adhere to the flesh.
The only thing you can do is to apply pressure to the cut, has the same effect
