Burned COD3 like every other game and it's the first one that does not work. GOW or other new games work perfectly.

I updated the firmware to 4.2A, did not help. I toasted two discs for COD and tried every one about ten times.

Any ideas? I did not install the fall update as I don't use/have live. But that would be no problem regarding the copy protection, would it?

It's possible mate. I made a copy of Marvel Alliance before installing the nov update and it refused to work. Yet after the update it ran just fine. If your positive the game is burning ok, i'd give the update a go.
